We gotta president who promised immediate action to help boost the economy.
We gotta stimulus package without any immediate stimulus.
We gotta president who promised no more earmarks or pork.
We gotta omnibus spending bill riddled with earmarks and pork.
We gotta president who promised an ethical administration.
We have tax cheats, lobbyists, and ethically challenged secretaries.
We gotta president who promised a change in our take on world affairs.
We gotta policy that includes blaming the United States for every problem.
We gotta president who promised to be tough on terrorists.
We gotta policy that refuses to acknowledge terrorism.
We gotta president who promised to end the war in Iraq.
We gotta policy that reduces troop levels but stays in Iraq.
We gotta president who promised fiscal responsibility.
We gotta budget that is the biggest deficit ever in the history of the nation.
Down is up. Up is down. And in the end, we ain’t got diddly.
